This actually made me really happy to see. I’m always glad to hear someone enjoys them and I can only hope they impact their lives as much as they have mine.

I won the Citizenship Award for JROTC (2nd place Superior Cadet). 1SG quietly said, “You know, you actually came… very close. You know what it was and we’ll work on that.” The way he said that told me that I was Superior Cadet but because I’m not going to his wannabe soldier camp, and I’m going to Boys State (which West Point will actually look at) I didn’t get the award I had earned again. 

People were pissed that I didn’t get it. I’m one of those people.
